Chirongi/Chironji nuts are little, round musky-flavoured nut traditionally utilized in the region around Hyderabad in India. They are the essential parts of a fruit whose shell dries to bustle rigidity. The fruit is fractured open and the nuts are taken out. They are slightly flat and round in shape and are the size of lentils.
