2) Front and Back Post Double Crochet

Or about 40 yards of worsted weight yarn
Alternatively you can use a kid seta and a sport weight yarn held together for that soft and fuzzy feeling.

Hook: Tunisian crochet hook size I (5.5mm)
4 Buttons about 1” in diameter each.

Abbreviations:
CH = chain
YO = yarn over
DC = double crochet
FWP = forward pass
RetP = return pass
FPDC = Front post double crochet - Yo, insert hook into your work from front to back and to front again around the vertical post (upright part) of the stitch, yo and pull up a loop, yo and complete the dc as usual.
BPDC = Back post double crochet - Yo, insert hook into your work from back to front and to back again around the vertical post of the stitch, yo, pull up a loop, yarn over, complete the dc as usual.
